I began my racing career at the end of the 2012 race season in a dirt late model. Though it was my first time in any stock car, I transferred through to the main event, beating out 30 other late model drivers to do so, and finished in the top 10.
After returning from my second deployment, I ran my first full season in a late model in 2014. During the 2014 season, I raced at four different tracks across Michigan, mainly at Tri-City Speedway (Auburn, MI) where I ran 4th in points as a rookie, until we had engine trouble and finished the year out in 14th place.
In 2015, I raced every week at Tri City, scoring a couple heat wins and top 5 finishes, and 8 top 10 finishes in 14 starts. I ended the year 6th in points to some of the top late model drivers in the state and received the Perfect Attendance Award and the award for Most Improved Driver for my class for 2015.
In 2016, I raced again at Tri City on Fridays, coming REALLY close to victory lane a couple of times. I also raced mainly at Crystal Motor Speedway (Crystal, MI) on Saturdays, where I averaged a 5.2 place finish during the season, and picked up my first win on the 4th of July weekend.
The 2017 season started out with rebuilding and then eventually buying a new engine in the middle of the season. During the process of changing engines, I had the opportunity to race my father-in-law, David Hilliker's, late model at Crystal on Memorial Weekend. It was the first time I had driven that car and I won the main event that night, beating out one of the top drivers in the state. After putting the new engine in my own car, I have averaged a 4.4 place finish at Tri City, including a feature win. I have also averaged a fourth place finish at Crystal, where I scored another win in my own car.
I would like to be able to include your company as one of my main sponsors. This monetary and/or parts sponsorship would provide an opportunity to have your business advertised to fans and racers in the Tri-Cities by track announcers during races and hopefully in victory lane as well. I also thank my sponsors on my Facebook fan page after every race we attend and am open to other promotional ideas you may have in mind.
