Keaton was awarded the 2017 Bandolero Bandit Division Championship, and finished third overall for all Bandolero classes, which included the older Outlaw Bandolero Division. In addition to his success in Cordele, GA, Keaton finished second in the Bandit Division in the Georgia State Points Standings for 2017, missing the state championship by only 16 points. In the National INEX Bandolero Bandit Division, he finished 19th out of 161 drivers nationwide. Keaton's championship earned him entry into the annual Speed Fest event at Crisp Motorsports Park in January 2018. This year, Keaton moves up to the Outlaw Division. His schedule will include 33 races in Atlanta, Cordele, and Concord, NC.
In addition to the programs at Crisp Motorsports Park, Keaton competes at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA, in the Thursday Thunder Series. Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thunder Ring is where it all began. Keaton had no previous racing experience in 2015 when he started racing the quarter mile and road coarse events. His career highlights include 2 wins at Atlanta Motor Speedway on the quarter mile Thunder Ring as a Rookie Bandolero Driver. Lately, Keaton has been a consistent competitor on the Thunder Ring of Atlanta Motor Speedway, bringing home several top five and top ten finishes.
